I've been trying to get the RP mailed to me, but even after three contacts since February, I still haven't received one. From what I saw on the list, the nearest paper to me that is still receiving them is Zanesville. Too far for me!!    Cry

Hi to all
Just had a call from Red Plum rep..he informed me that those of us in the ABJ area will NOT be receiving Red Plum in the mail because it is in ABJ.  When I complained how few coupons were in this insert, he suggested we call the companies who are not putting their ads in our area?Huh?  Go figure...what do you think??
Pat

So, you're basically suppose to call these companies and try to get them to put their ads in his Red Plum.  Sounds like he's trying to get "free labor" by having us do all the leg work for him.  He's crazy.

So it sounds like from this article that their "reason" for pulling the q's from the paper is that the readership of the newspapers are down and continuing to fall.  The PD just sent a young man who is trying to raise money for I believe it was The future leaders of america", to sell paper subscriptions door to door.  Maybe that will increase the readership some because it is benefiting the F.L.A.?  I also keep getting phone calls from pd reps asking me to increase my subscription to a full week instead of getting just sunday and wednesday.  Their doing a good job calling people maybe they'll get more subscribers that way?  I don't know.  It seems like our face-paced lifestyles along with the newspaper being online for free is killing the newspaper.  Maybe they should start charging for the viewing of their paper online?  Make it subscribers only?  Would any of this make a difference?  What do you all think?
