Our heartfelt sympathy is sent to you. Carolyn suffered so much here on earth. She's in a better place now. We will miss her. Your mom was truly a great loving, kind person. She was blessed to have such a wonderful caring daughter as you!

Sorry I have not been on the boards much.
Thanks to all for your kind words and support.
We have really been going through
some hard times. I recently had major surgery and with my mom illness I had
to manage to still be there for her as many days as I could. The funeral is
tomorrow. Everyone is welcome to attend. The church we selected is
very large. I believe Mizque posted the link with all the funeral information
and guestbook to express your condolences.
This is certainly a hard time in my life. First my son dies 2 years ago and
now my mother.I feel like I have not had much time to heal from anything including the major
surgery I just had a few weeks ago but I was able to get around in my
wheel chair just to be by her side to the very end.

So sorry to hear the news...I understand your pain. My brother passed from cancer, 13 month battle. Today is his birthday so I am hurting all over again.

I am so sorry about the passing of your mother. I pray that the memories of your mother give you strength and comfort in the days ahead. Although I was not blessed to have known your mother, I'm sure that heaven now has a very special angel.

All my love and heart full of prayers to your and your family. You have gone through so much and the toughest losses of all - that of a child and your mom. I don't mean to sound light about this as it runs as deep as the human soul and experience, but I truly believe that Carolyn did not lose her long battle - she won it. Such faith and bravery in the face of every kind of pain imaginable does not go unnoticed by the only One who understands it all and can still offer the kind of peace that surpasses all human knowledge. It may sound glib to say to offer comfort by saying she is in a better place - but I truly believe she and your son are. At the same time - I know they can still hear you and are experiencing all the love you have for them.
