Grin  My husband and I got our washer and dryer from home depot today, and it will be delivered on the 2nd of March. Now, about laundry detergent. Is the he more expensive? And where does everyone get it? I just bought 2 big bottles of laundry detergent from the dollar general market, they were cheap with coupons, now I have to use it up. We have had the stomach flu running so everything has been getting washed, cleaned and disinfected. I would like to use tide, but am partial to just about any detergent. Thanks for the advise. We have an HE machine too. I usually use Tide HE, but I have substituted using regular detergent...just use half the amount. When the detergent is free/cheap, I can't NOT buy it! (Remember the free Purex deal at GE?)

In my opinion, a decent price on a 50 oz. bottle of Tide is around $5. The 100 oz. bottles are around $10. Tide always has coupons. Most of the time, I get the detergent from CVS.

Enjoy your new washing machine! How exciting Smiley

I also have a HE washer.I use Costco's Kirkland detergent. It's reasonable and cleans well. It's HE compatible.
